Small details. Meaningful progress.

A closer look at what’s changing across TilBridge.

v2026.10.13 — AI and people on one project page, Trados packages and document-aware translation

Each job now has an AI cell and a Human cell on the project page, Trados Studio packages can be imported and returned, and the Translator works with the whole document in view.

Important changes

  • The project page has no tabs. The Workflow tab is retired. Each job row now has an AI cell and a Human cell, and AI runs belong to the job instead of a workflow step. New and reopened jobs no longer copy the language pair’s plan.

Added

  • AI actions on each job. Choose Pre-translate, Translator, Term Expert (Extract or Reconcile) or Reviewer (Terminology check) in the job’s AI cell, then start it, stop it or run it again. The cell shows progress and coverage, and its history lists every AI run on the job with its figures and, for the Reviewer, its report. Each action’s settings apply to every job in the language pair.
  • Offers to repeat a change. After you start an AI action, move a deadline or assign a person on one job, the page offers the same change on the pair’s other jobs, or on the same person’s other jobs for a reassignment.
  • People in the Human cell. Plan an assignment from the cell, send it (a selection is sent at once), and recall it, with a confirmation when the person has already started. A sent assignment nobody has started can be given to someone else.
  • Trados Studio packages. Import a project package (.sdlppx) into a project: its files become jobs, its analysis reports become analyses, and its translation memories and termbases import in the background to the destinations you choose. Create return package builds the return for the client.
  • ZIP archives at intake. Drop a .zip with several documents; they appear with folder paths and sizes, and you untick the ones you do not need.
  • Filters on the project page by assignee and by AI state.
  • Several jobs in one editor. Search, filter, replace, lock and clear across jobs opened together.
  • Inflected term forms. Russian, Kazakh and Uzbek terms are recognised in their inflected forms.

Improved

  • Document-aware Translator. The Translator reads the whole document before it translates, works in parallel batches and finishes with a consistency pass. It starts without a machine-translation draft unless you ask for one.
  • Fallback model. The Translator can switch to a second model for a segment when the first times out or runs out of quota.
  • Tags in AI translations. When a model drops tags, the Translator puts them back where the source makes their position certain; otherwise it keeps the translation for you to finish in the editor with Use recovered translation.
  • Clearer job actions. Each job has one Files menu, an Analysis column, and Mark complete that also completes a selection; downloads on a selection come as one ZIP.
  • Project and job codes appear in navigation and in new notification emails.
  • Open editors stay current. An editor refreshes when someone else saves, and an outdated save settles without an error.

Fixed

  • Tags. Tags in fuzzy matches and joined segments are placed consistently, Phrase target-only codes can be removed, and QA warns which tags an export will remove or move in a joined segment.
  • Repetitions follow their reconciled leader.
  • Job completion. Completing a job records who did the work, and reopening it undoes what completion closed.
  • Human review is kept when you confirm text that is identical to the source.
