v2026.09.26 — Formatting-aware editing, operational clarity and analysis evidence

Preserve document formatting through translation work, understand job progress and lifecycle, and inspect the evidence behind analysis and QA.

Added

  • Formatting-aware translation work. DOCX formatting can be authored with marks and shortcuts, formatting differences are visible in QA, and formatting can be stored and reused. Supported TMX interchange preserves formatting metadata, including formatting carried by Trados files.
  • Project and job operational context. Projects can name a responsible PM, jobs expose lifecycle and completion events, and operational queues make work needing attention easier to follow.
  • Analysis evidence. Analysis applies leverage and exclusions from the selected discount grid and keeps the grid evidence with the result.
  • Richer editor evidence. Revision comparisons preserve formatting-only changes, grid evidence remains available for empty targets, and QA markers appear beside the editor lock state.

Improved

  • Clearer editor navigation and progress. The editor points back to all jobs, highlights the relevant Projects or My work area, names the job in the status bar and leads with a bold completion indicator. Toolbar layouts no longer require sideways scrolling.
  • More consistent translation-memory and terminology detail. TM entries, matches, concordance and changes use the same badge vocabulary as the editor, and change details present tags as editor pills rather than storage internals.
  • More reliable workflow notifications. Work-start, submission, recipe and deadline notifications target the responsible project manager when one is eligible, with a controlled fallback when one is not.
  • More dependable document handling. Bilingual Word imports accept Word’s row identity and split document parts again resolve translation memory, machine translation and terminology matches using the job’s language pair.

Fixed

  • Analysis and settings controls behave consistently. Discount-grid switching uses the same tab behavior as other Settings areas, and the analysis dialog keeps one clear grid selector on the result.
  • Workflow links and editor labels display their actual text.
